One hundred twenty-eighth

Once I asked my friends to help me translate the name for the Baby Dragon subspecies “Crowned Crested Tails”. In the end, this task was completed by one linguist and two biologists from the Darwin Museum (and rightly so: if you do, do it as well as possible).

Coronifera cristicauda has many small differences from usual Baby Dragons, from head to tail. I loved creating her – and I can’t wait to work on her sisters.

It is almost impossible to see the foremother of the Crowned Crested Tails in this decorative breed – a poisonous tropical toad that once decided to grow wings. However, most of all, the representatives of this breed do not like to fly, but to stare.
