A hundred Baby Dragons later

It seems to me that every writer, rereading her first stories, thinks: “I would have written differently now.” Here is the same thing with dragons! And it’s not just the accumulation of techniques, although the techniques mastered have a strong impact. There are also materials that I did not even know about. Palettes that allowing me to choose the most suitable suede, fur, threads, beads…

At the very beginning I had only the fabric that fascinated me, eyes, some plastic beads. And the pitiful gifts of the past. For example, pink fur – I had a pink elephant in my childhood, and not all of the fur was wiped off…

Now there is so much in my workshop! And now I can choose from materials and ideas.

What has not changed is the basic silhouette of the Baby Dragon (although the schema is already slightly different, and a completely different principle in the wings). And the red suede tongue remains the same. I have a lot of this suede: enough for a thousand more tongues.

The second hundred has begun.
